This year, Renewal by Andersen of Roanoke will donate $6,008 to registered 501(c)(3) non-profits chosen by its employees as part of the Renewal Cares Check Program.
Launched in 2019 at Renewal by Andersen of Central Virginia, this annual program starts with a donation amount determined by the previous year’s sales. The total is then divided among all eligible employees. This year, each eligible employee has $117.80 to donate to a non-profit of their choice serving the Roanoke, VA area.
Last year, Renewal by Andersen of Roanoke and Central Virginia collaborated to donate a combined $22,518 to non-profits across the Greater Roanoke and Central Virginia area. Following significant growth in 2024, each location is now running its Renewal Cares Check Program independently. However, if combined, this year’s total donation across both locations would reach an impressive $31,302!
In previous years, popular non-profit recipients have included Renewal by Andersen’s national partner, the American Cancer Society, as well as the Alzheimer’s Association, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, and Roanoke-based organizations like The Rescue Mission.
